     We've encountered many obstacles, but we are excited to present our first draft of The Jock !

     As mentioned in t he  previous blog post, one of our group members, Elena  Bretoi , has been quarantined due to exposure to the COVID-19 virus. In addition to this, I have now been quarantined as well, which has left only one of our group members at school. I  am allowed to  return to school in a week, which is when we have moved filming to. We are still looking for another actress to replace Mia, who has the virus and is who we were exposed to.        While this did pose a big problem since most of the scenes take place at school, we are able to move filming to the day I  am allowed to  return to school. We decided that I will be director, Ashlee will be filming, and Elena will be responsible for major ity of editing since she is not able to be in school with us.        This week, my group has been primarily focusing on planning when and where we are going to film our introduction. We decided that we will be using the Bahia Vista Parking Lot to film the introduction because we believe it will give the film the feeling of walking in on the first day and really showcase the type of film it will be. Personally, this week I set dates for beginning of filming and we were going to be getting started next week, until we faced our first setback.    *Bahia Vista parking lot stairs where we plan to film our introduction.     The first challenge we have faced is one of our group members being contact traced and quarantined from one of the actors we are using in the film. I am also at risk of being quarantined due to contact tracing of the same person. Now, we will be working on finding a new actress to play the role she was set to do.
