Production 1- Casting

     This week my group and I primarily worked on casting. We decided who will play the  ket  roles in our film and where we will be filming majority of the scenes. Personally, I found the actors for the main boy character, Troy, and his friends. We decided to cast Evan Phillips as Troy  and Dylan Tackman as his best friend. My group decided together to use Tia as Sabrina, Mia as Alex, and Maria as Victoria, who will be the three main characters of our film. We also cast  Ms. day  to play the teacher in our film because she is very funny and would play the part well of the teacher.       In addition to who will be playing what parts, we decided the locations we will be filming in. We will start the movie in my bedroom, where the girls will wake up together after their annual first day of school slumber party. Storyboard

     At first, it was very challenging to come up with different aspects for the film. However, as soon as we got our ideas flowing, we were able to come up with drama and comedy bits for our film that fit the theme perfectly. We were able to successfully come up with several scenes that we feel confident in our ability to rec reate and that will be funny or dramatic. Our storyboard helped us develop our concept because we were able to come up with our main idea that all the girls  all like the same boy which will be the drama element, as well as everyone at the school having very different personalities, which will contribute to the comedic effect.        By creating the storyboard, it gave us a very easy layout to follow when we get to filming. It will be much easier to follow the scenes and get the filming done using the storyboard to know exactly what we are trying to film.
