       The creative process is extremely important when embarking in a new endeavor. In order to make original content and effectively display your ideas through your work, you must think creatively. In the Ted Talk about the theory of creati vity, it was mentioned that children think more  expansively  and we begin to think more reductively as we get older because education teaches us to look for only one right answer. In order to think more creatively, we must teach ourselves to get out of t he mindset that there is one correct answer we should be looking for   and start thinking about all possible answers.       In the new introductions  activity  I compared myself to a lion because I am confident. I think this trait will allow me to be creative because I am typically  confident in my ideas even if they may be wrong.        After going through team building activities, reading articles about working with others, and weighing out the pros and cons, I have decided it is best for me to work in a group. For th e social media teammate activity, I went through Ashlee’s Instagram page and I found that she posts nicely edited photos of herself, which is  similar to  what I post, but she also has a wider range of photos on her page. I think the fact that she knows how to edit photos is helpful to my group because sometimes editing can get  quite confusing for me. For the lost at sea activity, even though I did get a higher score by myself, it was most likely because I remembered doing the activity in the past and it was in the back of my mind.      My initial reaction to the InDesign and Premier Pro software was that it was very overwhelming and a lot to take in. There were so  many  different buttons and options I didn’t know where to begin. After watching the InDesign  tutorial and trying it out on a photo I used the fading  tool, and  found it  pretty easy  to figure out. It took some getting used  to  but I was able to figure out the different controls and settings to edit the photos.  After taking a closer look at Premier Pro, I figured out how to edit how fast the video is going and some of the  slow motion  effects.        I am  definitely thinking  about doing a movie for my portfolio and I want to work in a group with Ashlee and Elena.
